Silent Night

Somehow I just don't think it was a silent night.

There were a bajillion people in
town for the census.
So many, in fact,
that all the inns were filled up.

And out in the fields shepherds were being
scared half out of their wits by
angels with trumpets.

I'm just sayin......
...not so silent from where I'm sitting.

  1. In the clammer of such a night, God spoke softly and tenderly in the cry of a babe...
