Teacher Appreciation Always.

 I am
book-ended
by teachers.
One helped raise me and I raised the other.
But in honesty, the one who helped
raise me helped raise the other as well.

It's kind of fun that Big liked the littles (1st graders)
and Shanna likes the bigs (high schoolers).

Big never had kids of her own,
but oh the children she had!

It's
Teacher Appreciation Week.
Really?
??Week??
I've seen and see what these two have done
and sacrificed for their kids.

Everyone had best be appreciating their teachers
EVERY DAY!
(and you can thank a teacher if you know the
difference between that and everyday)

I, Me, Everyday, Every Day

I birthed an English Teacher.
Don't ask me how.
I can't spell worth spit.
I capitalize at will.
I rely heavily on autocorrect,
although I can't misspell
deffinatly
bad enough to have it NOT autocorrect to
defiantly.
I pretty much use NO punctuation
when texting with her,
apostrophes,
possessive, not possessive
(autocorrect situation just now)
and don't even get me started on what to
do if someone's name ends with an "S"!!

But there are two grammatical rules
I can get right every time.

I vs me
and everyday vs every day.

One makes me insane, the other makes
Shannas ( see, no apostrophe there)
head spin.

I thought about just ending there.
But I can't.

Take the other person's name out of the sentence!
You helped me.
You helped Suzzy and ME, not I!!!

Is it something you do EVERY day
or
is it a ho-hum, EVERYDAY
kind of thing.

Whew, I feel kinda better.

My Opinion (and I have a million of them)

So, Honey and I were at our current favorite restaurant,
Cooper's Hawk ,
today and I overheard the ladies behind me
looking for recommendations from the
waitress.
I so wanted to lean over the back of the booth
and tell the one gal,
"You're feeling like salmon?
Get the Soy Ginger Salmon."
But, unfortunately,
 or,
fortunately if you were that lady,
I have done my work on boundaries and I kept to myself.

I said to Honey, if only there was a job
where I could tell people what to eat.
He said, make one.
I said, that would actually be a
Busybody.

Don't nobody wants one of those.

But in the interest of satiating my inner
busybody,
should you be at Cooper's Hawk
and just can't decide,
well, everything is good.
But here's a heads up,
whereas the asian slaw served alongside
said Soy Ginger Salmon is delicious,
served as a side
it leaves something to be desired.

There.
My 2 cents.
Not that you asked,
but hey, if you made it this far then there
is implied consent that you
wanted to hear my opinion.
You are welcome.
