Haven't Written Much Lately

I've been busy doing other things.

PS, that's about five minutes worth of photos.

Yes, very busy.

You See There Was This Play Date....

It was seven grown women
verses
seven children under the age of three.

Not sure how Lory and I get
ourselves into these things
but,
I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Some Things Take You By Surprise

 This is how it started.
And by *this* I mean Maddie.
The onesie obsession took me by surprise.
The twins had to have them.
And then I had to do a reindeer.
And since Maggie and Nelson don't do Santa
I had to do these.

I don't see this ending any time soon.

The Bathroom Is Done!

The red pictures are the before.
And so the green are after.
The only things we didn't change out were the tub and tub surround.
This post is a service to those family members
who don't make the climb to our
second floor.

I'm looking at you, Big.
:o)

Idea Boards

I've seen them done on the TV shows.
Designers put together a slick board
with ideas and inspirations
for a design.
I have and Idea Bed.

That's a bathroom, folks.

Fairy Door

It's in there.
Can you spot it?
This one was specifically a
fairy door
but I have seen them done with doll house
doors as well.

It's a cute idea and fun to make.
Maddie *may* wind up with a
fairy village.

I'm Working On A New Project

Big likes to say that I've
closed up shop
when I haven't posted things here
for a while.

It's not that I've closed up this shop
as much as it is that I've
opened up shop elsewhere.

I'll keep you posted.

Turkeys All Around!

 Remember this?
Shanna needed one.

As did her friends whom she will be doing
a turkey day run with.

And that is that.

Cheesy Chicken Tater Tot Casserole

There is not a thing in that title
not to like.
Oh, and you make it in a slow cooker.
Aces!

My only problem is I neglected to
take a picture of it.
Sorry.
But, honestly, it's not that great a sight.
Tastes great though!

The thing you kind of forget is that since this
is made in a slow cooker, those tots
don't get crispy, crunchy, wonderful.
But they do become something
different.
But good.

I'll link to the original recipe site but really all you
do is layer
 tots,
bacon,
shredded cheese,
cut up chicken breasts
(raw)
and repeat then pour 3/4 cup
of milk on top and slow cook away.

Comfort food.
Oh, and PS,
!!!!BACON!!!!
